ANAGRAM Win an Australian Kangaroo 2017 1oz Silver Gilded Coin

Posted by Blog Team on

Influential naturalist Joseph Banks, a member of James Cook’s famous expedition to the south Pacific Ocean in 1768 – 1771, was the first European to record the sight of a kangaroo in Australia. This remarkable animal has since become one of the most recognised symbols of the “land down under”.

The kangaroo on this stunning Perth Mint silver coin is beautifully gilded in 24-carat gold. Seen bounding on its powerful hind legs, Australia’s most famous marsupial can reach speeds of up to 70 kmph.
